These Terms govern your use of Nexumi. We have written them to be as clear and plain as possible. Please read them — they matter.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Nexumi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
These Terms govern your relationship with Nexumi ("Company", "we", "us"). We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notice.
Effective Date: March 13, 2026 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of our operations.
Eligibility & Accounts
Age Requirement You must be at least 13 years old to use Nexumi. Users between 13–17 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Account Registration You sign in exclusively via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Nexumi has no access to your Google password.
Account Responsibility You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must: • Provide accurate information during sign-in • Notify us immediately at gnanasampathbatchu2003@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access • Not share your account credentials with others • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Account Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or are inactive for more than 24 months.
The Service
What Nexumi Provides Nexumi is an AI-powered personalised learning platform. Features include AI curriculum generation, lesson delivery, quizzes, knowledge graphs, gamification (XP, streaks, badges), AI tutoring (mentor chat, Feynman Mode, interview practice), flashcards, and certificates.
Free Plan The Free plan provides access to core learning features with the following limits: • Maximum 3 active curricula • Maximum 3 active projects • Access to standard AI features
Pro Plan The Pro plan provides unlimited curricula, projects, 1.5× XP multiplier, streak shield, unlimited quiz retries, deep dives, flashcards, interview sessions, portfolio generation, and certificates.
AI-Generated Content All curriculum, lesson, quiz, and feedback content is generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Nexumi is a learning tool, not a substitute for professional or academic certification. Do not rely solely on AI-generated content for high-stakes decisions.
Service Availability We target 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or incidents may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from unavailability.
Feature Changes We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant removals that affect core functionality.
Pro Plan & Billing
Pro Upgrades Plan upgrades from Free to Pro are currently handled administratively. Specific pricing and billing details will be provided at the time of upgrade.
Refunds Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Contact gnanasampathbatchu2003@gmail.com within 14 days of any charge to request a refund.
Plan Determination Your plan tier is determined solely by the plan field in our database, which is set by Nexumi administrators. We never trust client-sent plan values. Attempting to manipulate plan access via client-side means will result in account termination.
Taxes You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
• **Abuse AI systems:** Submit prompts designed to jailbreak, manipulate, or extract unsafe content from our AI systems
- • Rate limit evasion: Use scripts, bots, or automation to circumvent API rate limits or generate content at scale
- • Account fraud: Create fake accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity
- • Reverse engineer: Attempt to extract, copy, or reverse-engineer our AI models, algorithms, or proprietary systems
- • Scrape: Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content from the platform without written permission
- • Distribute harmful content: Submit or generate content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or promotes violence
- • Misuse certificates: Claim certificates for courses you did not genuinely complete
- • Interfere: Introduce malware, conduct DDoS attacks, or otherwise interfere with platform infrastructure
- • Circumvent access controls: Attempt to access data, routes, or admin areas you are not authorised for
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, reporting to relevant authorities.
Intellectual Property
Our IP All platform software, design, branding (including the Nexumi name and logo), and non-AI-generated content are the intellectual property of Nexumi You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute these without prior written permission.
AI-Generated Content Curriculum, lessons, and feedback generated by our AI are provided to you for personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not resell, republish, or commercially exploit AI-generated content from our platform.
Your Content Content you input — such as learning goals, quiz answers, and chat messages — remains yours. By submitting content to Nexumi, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to provide and improve the Service (including training/fine-tuning AI systems in anonymised/aggregated form).
Certificates Certificates issued by Nexumi are for personal portfolio use. They do not constitute academic credentials or professional certifications recognised by external bodies.
Privacy
Your use of Nexumi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By accepting these Terms, you also accept our Privacy Policy.
Key points:

- • We do not sell your personal data
- • Authentication is handled via Google OAuth — we never store your password
- • You can request deletion of your account and data at any time

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of Warranties THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- • AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or up to date
- • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- • Certificates will be recognised by third parties
Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXUMI INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 1,000 / USD 10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexumi and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
Termination & Changes
Your Right to Terminate You may stop using Nexumi at any time. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, email gnanasampathbatchu2003@gmail.com.
Our Right to Terminate We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if: • You materially breach these Terms • Required by law or court order • We discontinue the Service
Effect of Termination On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy, except where retention is legally required.
Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
Entire Agreement These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nexumi regarding the Service.
